What ProductDocs Hub does

ProductDocs Hub helps Shopify merchants attach product documents such as manuals, SDS sheets, warranty cards, ingredient sheets, and installation guides to products and variants.

What we store

• Your store domain and the app session/access token issued by Shopify.
• Merchant-uploaded product documents stored in Cloudflare R2.
• Document type, title, status, and product or variant associations.
• Basic file metadata such as filename, content type, file size, and version.

What we do not store

ProductDocs Hub does not store shopper personal information, customer profiles, payment information, shipping addresses, billing addresses, or order history. Product documents are attached to products and variants, not to customers.

Data deletion (GDPR / CCPA)

We honor Shopify mandatory privacy webhooks. Customer data request and customer redact webhooks return no customer records because ProductDocs Hub does not store customer-scoped personal data. When Shopify sends a shop redact request, we delete ProductDoc database rows for that shop, delete the associated document files from Cloudflare R2 on a best-effort basis, and remove Shopify session records. App uninstall webhooks remove Shopify session records.

• Neon for Postgres database hosting.
• Vercel for application hosting.
• Cloudflare R2 for document storage.
